We’ve had lots of HeadsUp users saying they’d like to discuss specific topics that aren’t being covered in the forums – this is what HeadRoom is for – all the other burning issues you don’t get a chance to debate in the main forums.

We hope you like this new feature and don’t forget if you have any other suggestions for how we can make HeadsUp better just contact us – we really do listen to what you say!

HeadRoom is the new space for you to discuss politics between forums. The Heads will introduce an issue that is in the news so you can discuss more topics in between forums and share your views with other HeadsUp users regularly. If you think there is a current issue that you would like to discuss in HeadRoom let us know and we’ll do our best to gather together some info about it and get a discussion going. We will also try to get the opinions of legislators about the topic up for debate as often as we can.

We’ll still be giving you a run down of the issue and links to other articles and sources so you can think through your arguments before getting involved in the discussion. The regular forums will also still happen 5 times a year and to make sure the main focus is on the forum topic, the HeadRoom will close while the main forums are taking place.
